For those planning a family getaway, Saint Lucia is a perfect destination for you, too. Enjoy on-site water parks, kids’ menus and evening entertainment for everyone. Adventure seekers can surf and sail in the pristine waters. ATV adventures and rainforest zip-lining are family favorites. Relaxation isn’t far off either with many resorts offering kids’ activities so parents can enjoy a cocktail, a quiet hour together, or a couple’s massage. Grab the kids, your partner and your sunscreen; this is a family holiday that everyone will enjoy.
Noted for its oodles of small and luxurious resorts that drip color and flair, St Lucia is really two islands in one. Rodney Bay in the north offers modern comforts amid a beautiful bay. In the south, Soufrière is at the heart of a gorgeous region of old plantations, hidden beaches and the impossibly photogenic Pitons.
Saint Lucia appeals to all the senses with some of the most uplifting attractions in the Caribbean. From champagne sunsets, magical mountains and beautiful palm-fringed beaches to sumptuous spas, delicious dining and a world-class choice of accommodation.

As with most Caribbean destinations the winter season is the most popular time to visit St Lucia. The very un-wintry weather brings the crowds and pushes up the prices, especially during the driest period from December to March. Winter weather is sublime with average temperatures around 81°F (27°C). Summer is quiet and hot with the July temperatures averaging 85°F (29°C). Hurricane season falls between June and October – expect more rain this time of year and maybe the odd storm.
Stretched out in front of the resort of the same name, Anse Chastanet is a fine curving beach. It’s an easy 1-mile walk from Soufrière. The sheltered bay is protected by high cliffs. The snorkeling just offshore is some of the best on the island; hassle-free access is through the resort.

With a lush interior featuring towering mountains, dense rain forest, fertile valleys, and acres and acres of banana plantations, St. Lucia is mostly distinguished by the Pitons—twin peaks that soar high above the ocean floor on the southwest coast. Whether you stay in Soufrière, in the north in or around Rodney Bay Village, or even farther north at Cap Estate, exploring the iconic natural sights—and local history—is a day well spent.
The Top Five Reasons to go:
1. The Beauty. Magnificent, lush scenery makes St. Lucia one of the most beautiful Caribbean islands.
2. The Romance. Our view of the Pitons, the abundant sunshine, and the serenity at Villa Grand Piton make it an incredibly romantic place.
3. An Indulgent Accommodation. Enjoy the privacy of a spacious villa with world-class views that most people only see on postcards, a private pool, round-the-clock staff to assist you with whatever you need, and many up-to-date amenities (complimentary WiFi, large-screen TV and surround sound, stainless grill, complimentary use of snorkeling gear and other beach and adventure equipment, and much, much more). The location, on the ridge of a tall hill, is peaceful and astoundingly serene, but is only a short drive from all the wonderful activities that define the true St. Lucian experience (the Pitons, snorkeling, SCUBA diving, beautiful and peaceful beaches, mountain biking/hiking through plantation ruins, the drive-in volcano, mud baths, ATV rides, ziplining, beautiful beaches, waterfalls, restaurants and more).
4. St. Lucia Jazz. Performers and fans come from all over the world for this annual music festival.
5.The Welcome. The friendly St. Lucians love sharing their island and their cultural heritage with visitors. Our staff will make you feel right at home, welcoming you upon your arrival, and making you feel like a long-lost friend!
